It's a nice day for a white wedding

So sorry everybody!!! I havent had my laptop for about a month now, well the internet, I felt like i'd lost an arm! Can't believe I started this blog and have abandoned everybody... basically this blog has turned utter CRAP hahah. I appreciate the new comments though you are all lovely! Recently i've been feeling really uninspired when i've been going shopping, feeling like i don't actually have a 'style', does anybody else ever feel this way? Total clothes rut. :(

Nothing exciting, but I have a wedding coming up soon, my cousins, and I like this dress , swaying towards the lovely blue colour but theres a orangey colour thats more 'wedding guesty' if that makes sense? Doesn't help I HATE weddings... the vows, the first dance, cuttting the cake, the total cheese of the whole day, bah!

''Time waits for no man!''

Hello again lovelies! This post is just to show you what I bought at my local charity shops the other day. The first picture is this gorgeous silky blouse, totally perfect for nights out with a waist belt, bare legs and some killer heels! It's like a size 20 or something but with abit of altering I can't wait to wear it.

The second is this pink cable jumper (we arent getting warm weather where I live anytime soon, so I have an excuse haha!) I havent had it off since I got it, you can't beat a good old comfy jumper.

In the third picture is a sailor shirt... god knows when I would EVER pull this off or wear is, but the patterns were just so lovely and at 50p I couldn't resist! Maybe cut off some material and make it into a headscarf? My camera does none of these clothes justice!!! Anyway it only came to about 4.50 at the till so all in all a good charity shop day.

I was thinking of having a themed sunday post as weekends are about the only time I can blog, maybe to make this abit more structured and interesting, but I just can't think. I'm off to have a radox bath ready for tomorrow, it's my little girls birthday on tuesday so we are taking her out tomorrow for some birthday fun! :)

Anchors away

Hello everybody, I'm really sorry I havent updated in 3 weeks now, I started a new job and have been working full time, its been so tiring. I can't get my blog to look organised and tidy either I have been looking at it and got stressed... i guess it mirrors how unorganised i actually am in person! It's just really messy but I guess i've only been doing this for a month, maybe i'll figure out which direction i'm going with my blog/how I want it to look? Sigh.

Anyway, aside from the stress, today I went into my local Sallys and got really excited about the new collection of China Glaze nail polishes called 'Anchors away'.

I bought the one on the far left on the top, a rusty, orangey colour called 'Life preserver' but the nude colour and pale blue are also on the top of my wishlist! They glide on so easily and last for a good week with a base and topcoat. I would definately recommend China Glaze polishes, especially this lovely summery collection, I think the one I just bought was roughly about £6.50, well worth it. Ooo and I had a great charity shop shopping spree the other day, you know the lucky times when you find some really great pieces? I'll get some pictures up tomorrow!

I hope you are all having a lovely week, reading my favourite blogs when there's nothing to do at work gets me through the day :)

Friday, I'm in love

Hello everyone, it's finally Friday woo! I'm going to Sunderland for a girly night tomorrow night, strictly no boys! I swear i'm going to end up an old woman with a house full of cats, but i'm sick of man drama! Not really been upto anything exciting this week apart from training and preparing for my job interview. Today I popped out to take Georgia to nursery then popped to get some lunch, now i'm sat watching Jeremy Kyle and painting my nails!

This is what I wore today, nothing exciting I must say
I look really miserable and my jumper could have been bloody ironed but i was in a hurry ;) haha
Blouse- New Look
Rusty coloured jumper- h&m
Black high waisted shorts (can't really see them) -Charity shop
Leather jacket- h&m
Ring are just various from h&m

I should really start being more creative with my hair rather than just shoving it up in a bun, but it's just easy during the week! Hence why i'm never showing my hair atm!

Are you guys doing anything nice at the weekend?:)

''We can't stop here, this is bat country!''

Hi everyone, (all 7 of my followers too, aww I didn't think i'd even have one by now thanks guys!), anyway it's been such a busy couple of days, i'm on doing this training course full time and it's really hard work. It has paid off though because I have an interview next friday, woo! The only thing is, I don't know what to wear for it. I didn't want to just go with the basic plain black trousers, white shirt sort of thing it just doesn't feel like me but I obviously don't want to go OTT!
These are the ideas I have so far... Today I bought this blouse in New Look (the only decent shop in the tiny town center I am training at). It's I lovely nude colour and suits my shape really well, plus i'll wear it alot anyway! Obviously i'll wear black trousers but I have these lovely skinny/dressy kind of trousers from Topshop which are smart but equally nice. Maybe with a little cute necklace and a statement ring to finish it off?
Do any of you have any suggestions on how to make an 'interview' outfit look less boring and more quirky but not completely over the top? :)

On a less stressy, lighter note I also popped into a charity shop on my lunch and bought this cute little bag!
It's a little battered and worn but that's what I love about it, it has a history, haha :)

Hope everyone is having a lovely week, I will have a proper outfit post at the weekend, with having a toddler and doing this full time course it's hard to snap a decent one when i'm in such a rush on a morning!

My Girl

Fearne Cotton is my idol! I just seem to love everything she wears when I see photos of her. She can wear a nice girly dress but somehow put an egdy twist on it, she always looks effortless! I think i'm kind of a tomboy at heart and love to team floaty skirts or dresses with clunky boots or some converse, if i'm top to toe 'girly' I really don't feel comfortable at all. I think this is the main reason I love her and her style so much! Not to mention those great make up sets I saw in Boots at christmas time, I got the nail polish one and the colours are fab!

Two posts in my first day in the blogging world isn't really the coolest thing to do but nevermind! Not to mention how bad and higgelty piggelty my layout is haha, i'm sure i'll get the hang of it all soon enough :)

My blog Virginity has been taken!

Hiyer, my name is Laura and i'm from Peterlee in the North-east of England! I have been looking at blogs for a while now and finally got the courage to make my own shopping/fashion/daily goings on blog... god knows who will ever read this or who is interested in my simple life but nevermind! I don't even know where to start haha! Today i've just been out for a nice meal with the family and having a yummy bubble bath... exciting eh ;)
